MOTOSPRAY Etch Primer is a ready to spray, quick drying, polyvinyl and zinc phosphate based, 1K epoxy for all bare metal surfaces. MOTOSPRAY Etch Primer has excellent adhesion to aluminium, steel, brass, copper, and galvanised steel surfaces. Can be top coated with various finishes.

SURFACE PREPARATION: Prepare the surface by removing all rust and flaking paint with a wire brush and wipe with MOTOSPRAY Prepwash to remove wax, grease and other contaminants.
Steel: Remove rust, solder and other loose material with a grinder, wire brush or mechanical sander. Treat with MOTOSPRAY Deoxidiser & Rust Remover. Surface must be cleaned with MOTOSPRAY Prepwash Galvanised Steel: Clean and degrease with MOTOSPRAY Prepwash while abrading the surface with a coarse abrasive pad. Abrade until all surface shine is removed. Clean again with MOTOSPRAY Prepwash. Apply MOTOSPRAY Etch Primer within 2 hours. Mask off surrounding areas to avoid overspray.
APPLICATION: Shake can vigorously for one minute after the sound of agitator is heard. Spray in an even, overlapping pattern from a distance of approximately 25cm. Apply 2-3 light coats leaving five minutes drying time between coats. Turn the can upside down and spray briefly to clear the nozzle after use.
CLEAN UP: Use mineral turps. DRYING TIME: Touch dry in 5 minutes. Dry to handle in 30 minutes. Ready to be top coated in 1 hour.
