MOTOSPRAY Acrylic Lacquers are premium quality topcoat paints with an outstanding finish and excellent adhesion and durability. Ideally suited for the repair or refinish of vehicles finished in acrylic lacquers, baked enamels and baked acrylic enamels.

PREPARATION: Prepare surface by removing all rust and flaking paint by grinding, wire brushing or sanding. Treat residual rust and bare metal with MOTOSPRAY Deoxidiser & Rust Remover or MOTOSPRAY Rust Converter. Lightly sand previously painted surfaces. Clean entire surface with MOTOSPRAY Prepwash
Priming: For Aluminium, galvanised metal and other non-ferrous metals, use MOTOSPRAY Etch Primer. For etch primed metals, bare steel, fibreglass, or other painted surfaces, use MOTOSPRAY Acrylic Primer Surfacer or MOTOSPRAY Primer & Putty In One. Or for plastic surfaces, use MOTOSPRAY Flexi Prime. MOTOSPRAY Acrylic Lacquer can be used over Stone Guard and MOTOSPRAY Bumper Prime.
APPLICATION: Thin 1 part ACRYLIC LACQUER with 1-1.5 parts by volume MOTOSPRAY Premium Acrylic Thinner. Apply using a suction feed or gravity feed spray gun with 1.6-2.0 mm tip. Apply 2-3 double header coats allowing 10-15 minutes flash off time between coats at 20°C. For MOTOSPRAY Acrylic Lacquer solid colours, apply 3 double header coats. For MOTOSPRAY Acrylic Lacquer Clear over base colours, apply 2-3 coats of base colour and allow 15-20 minutes drying time. Do not sand base colour finishes. Finally apply 2-3 double header coats of MOTOSPRAY Acrylic Lacquer Clear.
Dry and Recoat times: Touch dry in approx. 15 minutes. Hard dry 24 hours.
Clean up: Use MOTOSPRAY Gunwash
