MOTOSPRAY Etch Primer is a ready to spray, quick drying, polyvinyl and zinc phosphate based, 1K epoxy for all bare metal surfaces. MOTOSPRAY Etch Primer has excellent adhesion to aluminium, steel, brass, copper, and galvanised steel surfaces. Can be top coated with various finishes.

SURFACE PREPARATION: Prepare the surface by removing all rust and flaking paint with a wire brush. Wipe with MOTOSPRAY Prepwash to remove wax, grease and other contaminants. Steel: Remove rust, solder and other loose material with a grinder, wire brush or mechanical sander. Treat with MOTOSPRAY Deoxidiser & Rust Remover. Surface must be cleaned with MOTOSPRAY Prepwash.
Galvanised Steel: Clean and degrease with MOTOSPRAY Prepwash while abrading the surface with a coarse abrasive pad. Abrade until all surface shine is removed. Clean again with MOTOSPRAY Prepwash. Apply MOTOSPRAY Etch Primer within 2 hours. Mask off surrounding areas to avoid overspray.
APPLICATION: Stir thoroughly before use. Can be thinned with up to 10-30% MOTOSPRAY Superglow General Purpose Thinner for spray application. Apply 2-3 coats with a 3-5-minute flash off time between coats.
DRYING TIME: Touch dry in 10 minutes. Dry to handle in 60 minutes. Ready to be top coated in 1 hour.
CLEAN UP: Use MOTOSPRAY Gunwash Purpose Thinner.
