MOTOSPRAY Acrylic Primer Surfacer is a premium quality primer surfacer for use under acrylic lacquer topcoats. Suitable for spot repair and full respray, it is designed for priming bare metal, polyester body filler, fibreglass and sound, existing paintwork. MOTOSPRAY Acrylic Primer Surfacer offers excellent adhesion, filling properties, smooth levelling, quick drying and is easy to sand.

SURFACE PREPARATION: Prepare surface by removing all rust and flaking paint by grinding, wire brushing or sanding. Treat residual rust with MOTOSPRAY Deoxidiser & Rust Remover or MOTOSPRAY Rust Converter. Lightly sand previously painted surfaces. Clean entire surface with MOTOSPRAY Prepwash. Mask off surrounding areas to avoid overspray.
APPLICATION: Shake can vigorously for two to three minutes after agitation ball begins to rattle. Shake often during use. Hold can upright from a distance of approx. 25cm from surface, and spray in a steady back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Keep the can in motion, while spraying same distance from the surface. Apply two to three even coats to gradually increase film thickness. Avoid heavy, wet coats to minimise risk of runs. Allow 5 minutes to dry between coats. Turn can upside down and spray briefly to clear nozzle after use. Wet sand with P600-P800 before applying finish coat or Dry sand with P240 followed by P400-P500 using an orbital sander
DRYING TIME: Touch dry in approx. 30 minutes. Can be top coated after 60 minutes.
CLEAN UP: Use mineral turpentine.
