MOTOSPRAY Lightweight Body Filler is a two pack polyester filler for the repair of dents, small holes, and other minor damage. Suitable for use in automotive, industrial, domestic and marine applications. May be used on steel, aluminium, fibreglass, and timber. Easy to mix and apply. Fast cure. Easy to sand.

CONDITIONS FOR USE: Use when temperature is between 10°C and 32°C and humidity is below 65% to ensure proper drying.
PREPARATION: Remove all rust, paint and surface contamination. Grind or sand with coarse paper to promote adhesion. Clean thoroughly with MOTOSPRAY Prepwash to ensure that the surface is clean, dry and dust free.
APPLICATION: Add 2% hardener and mix Lightweight Body Filler on a clean, non-porous board. Mix only enough to use within the setting time. Measure reasonably carefully as an excess of hardener can bleed through to the topcoat and cause discoloration. Mix with a wide blade spatula and avoid mixing in air bubbles. The mixture is ready for use when a completely uniform colour is obtained. Apply Filler to surface with firm pressure, thinly and evenly. If required, a second coat may be applied after the first coat has set. Apply directly to bare metal, fibreglass or timber. Do not apply over painted surfaces. Wet sand with P400-P800 before applying finish coat.
DRY AND RECOAT TIMES: Setting time is approximately 15-20 minutes at 20°C. Rough shaping with a file and/or coarse sand paper may be started before filler is fully set. Final sanding and finishing may be commenced 20-30 minutes after application depending on temperature.
CLEAN-UP: Remove residues with MOTOSPRAY Gunwash.
