MOTOSPRAY Primer & Putty In One is a high build, acrylic based, premium undercoat designed for priming and filling over bare steel, body filler, stop & finishing putties, fibreglass repairs, scratches, minor surface imperfections and stone chips. Its unique formulation ensures that there is no need to apply a putty and a primer over the prepared surface. MOTOSPRAY Primer & Putty In One is the only product required before topcoat.

PREPARATION: Thoroughly clean surface to be painted, with MOTOSPRAY Prepwash. Grind or sand any surface rust and treat with MOTOSPRAY Deoxidiser & Rust Remover. For optimum results bare steel should be coated with MOTOSPRAY Etch Primer. Sand existing painted surfaces with P320 – P400 paper. Finally, clean the surface with MOTOSPRAY Prepwash. Mask off surrounding areas to avoid overspray.
APPLICATION: Shake can vigorously for one minute after the sound of agitator is heard. Spray in an even, overlapping pattern from a distance of approximately 25cm. Apply two to three even coats of MOTOSPRAY Primer & Putty to gradually increase film thickness allowing five to ten minutes drying time between coats. Avoid heavy, wet coats to minimise risk of runs. Allow to dry for two to four hours before sanding. Sand with fine grade abrasive paper before application of two to four coats of MOTOSPRAY Acrylic Primer Surfacer. Turn can upside down and spray briefly to clear nozzle after use.
CLEAN UP: Use MOTOSPRAY Superglow General Purpose Thinner.
DRYING TIME: Touch dry in approx. 15 minutes, hard dry approx. 24 hours.
