MOTOSPRAY Cold Gal is a zinc-rich, cold galvanising primer for long-term, heavy duty corrosion protection. Designed to form a barrier, encapsulating the metal in a zinc film. Ideal for use on clean, rust free steel in highly corrosive environments such as coastal regions. Suitable for interior and exterior applications.

PREPARATION: Prepare the surface by removing all rust and flaking paint with a wire brush. Wash with MOTOSPRAY Prepwash to remove wax, grease and other contaminants. Sand with a medium grade abrasive paper. Mask off surrounding areas to avoid overspray.
APPLICATION: Shake vigorously for 1 minute after the sound of the agitator is heard. Spray in an even, overlapping pattern from a distance of approximately 25cm. Apply two light coats allowing for a flash-off time of 5-10 minutes between coats. Allow to dry for 15-20 minutes before applying the next coat. Turn the can upside down and spray briefly to clear the nozzle after use. For the next step apply the selected topcoat.
CLEAN UP: Use MOTOSPRAY Superglow General Purpose Thinner.
