MOTOSPRAY Acrylic Primer Surfacer is a premium quality primer surfacer for use under acrylic or enamel topcoats. Suitable for spot repair and full respray, it is designed for priming bare metal, polyester body filler, fibreglass and sound, existing paintwork. MOTOSPRAY Acrylic Primer Surfacer offers excellent adhesion, filling properties, smooth levelling, quick drying and is easy to sand.

PREPARATION: Prepare surface by removing all rust and flaking paint by grinding, wire brushing or sanding. Treat residual rust and bare metal with MOTOSPRAY Deoxidiser & Rust Remover. Lightly sand previously painted surfaces to remove gloss completely using 600-800 grit sandpaper. Sand fibreglass using 320-400 grit sandpaper. Use MOTOSPRAY Prepwash to clean all surfaces thoroughly before and after sanding. Priming: For Aluminium, galvanised metal and other non-ferrous metals, use MOTOSPRAY Etch Primer.
APPLICATION: Thin 1 part MOTOSPRAY Acrylic Primer Surfacer with 1.5 parts by volume MOTOSPRAY Premium Acrylic Thinner. Apply using a suction feed or gravity feed spray gun with 1.6-2.0 mm tip. Apply one coat followed by one, or two even full coats allowing 5-10 minutes flash off time between coats at 25°C. Avoid heavy wet coats. Dry and Recoat times: Touch dry in approx. 40-60 minutes. Hard dry 24 hours.
Clean up: Use MOTOSPRAY Gunwash
